What we store

We store your email address, chosen cities, confirmation and unsubscribe records, and email delivery results. Each city subscription is separate.

Why we use it

We use this information to send the newsletters you request, confirm subscriptions, process unsubscribes, and prevent unwanted or undeliverable email.

Service providers

Amazon SES delivers email. Cloudflare provides website security and administrator authentication. The application and subscription database run on our server. OpenAI helps research and write editions. We do not send subscriber email addresses to OpenAI.

No tracking pixels

We do not track email opens or individual link clicks. We do not sell your email address. Public signup does not require an account.

Your choices

Every newsletter includes unsubscribe controls for that city and all cities. Contact [email protected] to request access, correction, or deletion of your information.

Retention

We keep active subscription records while you are subscribed. Unsubscribed contact records are removed after 90 days, except minimal suppression records needed to prevent further unwanted email. Delivery records are kept for 90 days. Encrypted backups expire after 30 days.
